Marzella to lead Big Brass Day 2

Yamaha artist and Black Dyke Band baritone star Katrina Marzella will lead the second in a series of Brass events for young people in Yorkshire.

Katrina is taking part in a 'Big Brass Day!' on Sunday 29th September (9.30am — 3.30pm) hosted by Shepherd Group Brass Band at their base in York.

Free event

This free event is run by youth music charity NYMAZ, funded by Youth Music and supported by Brass Bands England.

The Big Brass Day 2 is aimed at musicians aged up to 18 years old who are at Grade 4 and above.

Participants will have the chance to take part 'The Art of Solo Performance' Workshop with Black Dyke Solo Euphonium Daniel Thomas, as well as a Masterclass with Thomas and Marzella and a concert to end the day.

This free event is run by youth music charity NYMAZ, funded by Youth Music and supported by Brass Bands England4BR
