Scotland looks to keep investing in its National Youth

Applications can now be made to become part of the exciting National Youth Brass Bands of Scotland — from 9 to 22 years of age!

NYBBS
There was a fantastic all inclusive feel about the 2019 course!

The application process is now open for young players to apply to be part of the 2020 National Youth Brass Band of Scotland Senior Band, Reserve Band or Children's Band

The National Youth Brass Bands of Scotland (NYBBS) offer young brass and percussion players aged from 9 to 22 years of age, the opportunity to perform challenging, exciting and diverse brass repertoire while receiving guidance from an expert tutorial team.

Senior

The senior NYBBS is the premier level youth ensemble of the organisation and demonstrates the extraordinary musical talent which emanates from those involved.

Reserve

The National Youth Reserve Brass Band of Scotland (for players aged 14 -22 inclusive) is designed to nurture young musicians who are well on their way to reaching the high standards required by the premier level of NYBBS, or those awaiting a vacancy to arise in NYBBS.

Children's Band

The National Children's Brass Band of Scotland provides a wonderful opportunity for young, less experienced musicians (aged 13 or under), to enjoy the pleasures of playing in a full band of like-minded enthusiasts.
