As part of the Geneva Group's ongoing strategy to support and encourage leading youth bands, the company has announced that they are to part sponsor the North East Midlands Youth Brass Band.
The band was formed by conductor Martin Heartfield and for the past two years has worked with the likes of Michael Fowles and Brett Baker whilst tutors have included Simon Gresswell, Adie Smith, Gary Wyatt and Michael Dodd.
Geneva Group Education Consultant Brett Baker told 4BR: "Geneva Group is passionate about supporting the future of the banding movement and so is delighted to help this forward thinking organisation.
They inspire through an exciting format and list of repertoire and we are delighted that they continue to reach out to schools to encourage links and participation."

In response, Martin Heartfield added: "We're delighted that the Geneva Group is supporting the young players in the Midlands area.
The band is now in its fourth year and can now continue to create exciting opportunities to further the development of so many talented young players."
