Brass Band United for charity concert

Top brass band players will get together under the baton of the great Richard Evans this weekend for a charity concert aimed at helping youngsters back into their local communities.

  The Boltones Concert will be led by Richard Evans

Brass Bands United — an All Star Band made up of some of the finest players in the UK will be helping to raise funds for the CreateBoltones charity which holds weekly music ensembles for young people who may have become socially isolated or marginalised by their social circumstances.

Huge difference

Led by Anna Hughes-Williams and Toby Hobson the weekly get-togethers help create a positive environment and relationships that have already made a huge difference for teenagers and young adults.

Richard Evans

The concert will be held at Claremont Church in Bolton on Saturday 26th October (7.00pm) led by the one and only Richard Evans and featuring the likes of John Barber and Mark Wilkinson of Foden's, Helen Varley of Grimethorpe Colliery and plenty of local players all determined to help the charity with its wonderful work.

July 21 • We are looking for PERCUSSIONISTS to join our ambitious,friendly and hard working 1st section band.Rehearsals are on Wednesdays in our own bandroom (no setting up and down). Good but realistic diary of concerts and contests including tour abroad in 2027.
