2020 heralds new arrivals at City of Bradford

New players will be making their way to the City of Bradford organisation this Christmas

City
The City of Bradford and sibling BD1 Band has welcomed new faces for the new year ahead.

The City of Bradford Band has welcomed a number of new signings as they look ahead to the 2020 contesting season.

The top section Yorkshire ensemble has welcomed 18 year old Alex Barron from Marsden on euphonium who is joined by fellow National Youth Band of Great Britain soprano player Adam Hofland-Ward who recently played repiano at Rothwell Temperance Band.

BD1 signings

The sibling BD1 Band has also welcomed new signings in Noah Mallison aged 10, who makes the move up from the organisation's First Blast to become the fifth member of the family in the ranks.

He will be joined by cornet players Rob Bergman and Hannah French, whilst returning to banding after a seven year break is Jason Varley who used to play with the band in its fledgling days under Lee Skipsey's direction.

Meanwhile, Caz Duncan comes in on solo horn from Skelmanthorpe Prospect to link up with fiance Jim Turner who plays with City of Bradford.
