4BR Quiz: Mid week quiz

Another little brain tickler to get right to win three great CDs to put in someone's stocking...

Carols
  What carol?

We have another trio of CDs to be won in time for Christmas if you can identify a famous Christmas Carol...

All you have to do is make the link...

Question:

What famous Christmas carol links a hat-trick winning British Open band of the 1880's, a twice used National Final test-piece (from the 1950s and 1970s) about a drowned city, and a conductor who has won the European Brass Band Championship more times than anyone else?

Is it...

1. While Shepherds Watched...?
2. We're Three Kings...?
3. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer...?

You have to tell us why though...

What Trophy winner...

Thanks for all your entries over the weekend — nearly all of you managing to identity that the trophy on show was in fact the famous Crystal Palace National Championship Trophy which now resides at the Welsh Museum of Life in Cardiff.

The winning entry came from Adam Gregory, the bass trombone player of Friary Brass Band.
