Players of the Coalburn Band organisation can now enjoy their music making in a little more comfort thanks to a grant received from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.

The band has been able to purchase a new set of chairs, with Band President Alan Court telling 4BR: "We're thankful to Tesco for the financial assistance that has made this possible.

The previous set was bought second hand when we refurbished the bandhall in 2009, but the new chairs have transformed our rehearsal space."
