The World Rejoicing...

Study scores and conductor scores of Edward Gregson's latest major championship work will be available from the publisher later this month.

Study Scores and Conductor Scores of 'The World Rejoicing' (Variations on a Lutheran Chorale) by composer Edward Gregson will be made available for sale later this month.

The work (which has what can be seen as a hopeful, prophetic title), is a joint commission by the British Open and National Championship organisers of the Belgium, Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland, is due to receive its world premiere at Symphony Hall in Birmingham at the British Open Championships in September.

Distributor

The sole distributor for the performing material is Morthanveld Publishing Ltd.

Study scores will be available to purchase online from www.morthanveld.com/product/edward-gregson-the-world-rejoicing/ and www.worldofbrass.com from Saturday 25th April.

World of Brass holds the sole rights to sell study scores on their trade stands. Attendees at each of the five participating competitions will therefore also be able to purchase these on the day.

Conductor's Scores will be available exclusively online from morthanveld.com from Saturday 25th April.

Competing bands only

The full band parts and scores will be available to purchase exclusively from morthanveld.com for competing bands only at each event from Monday 1st June 2020 (for the Norwegian Championships from 15th June 2020).

The work will be available for general sale from 7th February 2021 (following the 2021 Norwegian Championships).

In addition the rights to the premiere performance in each country have been assigned to the commissioning competitions. Bands are respectfully requested to observe these rights.
