In the latest series of interviews with leading brass band personalities around the world during the Coronavirus lockdown we catch up with composer Tom Davoren at home in Kansas City, USA.

He talks about social, banding and education life at present in the USA, looks back on the inspiration and approach he took with his work, 'Legacy', recently used as the First Section Area test-piece in the UK, and what he believes is the need for bands to become more familiar with lyrical tonality.
