Arfon Owen's waiting speaking Italian...

Maybe not, but the Yamaha artist is the next guest on the Italian Brass Band's live-streamed interview this evening...

Italian
Arfon Owen is the latest banding celebrity to be interviewed on the show

Despite going through one of the most traumatic times in recent Italian history, the brass band movement in the country has shown incredible determination to stay connected with the rest of the musical world.

IBB & Friends

One of the initiatives players have come up with is a live streamed interview programme with leading banding personalities called 'IBB & FRIENDS'.

It is hosted by the wonderful Giovanni Celestino of the Italian Brass Band, and sees him link up with people around the world every Thursday at 6.00pm (local Italian time) on the Italian Brass Band Facebook page. The interviews are in both Italian and English.

The first interviewee was Besson artist Steven Mead, a regular visitor to the country over the years, and someone who knows the Italian brass band and wind band movements well.

Tonight with Arfon

The second interview (Thursday 21st May) is with Yamaha artist Arfon Owen. At the end of each interview Giovanni reads asks further questions which have been sent in during the interview.
