The Geneva Group continues to attract more 'Partner Bands' following the announcement that Regent Brass from London & Southern Counties is the latest organisation to link up with the company.

Forward looking

Established in 1985, Regent Brass is a forward-looking band based in central London. Led by Musical Director Paul Archibald, they have gained a respected reputation for presenting ambitious, eclectic programme of musical activity, regularly performing contemporary music including several world premieres and commissions.

The organisation has recently developed an exciting new partnership with DLD College Westminster, bringing brass band music to a wider audience. With a strong emphasis on education and collaboration it offers encouragement to a new generation of brass musicians.

Great opportunity

Also successful on the contesting front, they told 4BR that they fell the connection with Geneva will bring additional benefits, with Band Chairman Neil Rossiter telling 4BR: "This is a great opportunity and we will be making the most of this new partnership with our inventive musical approach during lockdown and when we eventually return to rehearsals in future."

MD Paul Archibald added: "Regent Brass is proud to be a partner band with Geneva Instruments. The values of the company reflect the ambitions of the band as we aspire to present the finest brass music to our audiences."

Shared ethos

In response, Geneva's General Manager, Brett Baker said: "I'm thrilled to welcome Regent Brass to the family, which now gives us a leading link in the London and Southern Counties Area.

We are particularly excited as the band shares our ethos to be ambitious, be different and be the best and we look forward to working on projects with them."
