Leeds College of Music is advertising for the post of a part-time lecturer in classical euphonium.

  The post is for 3.75 hours per week

Leeds College of Music is advertising for the post of a part-time lecturer in classical euphonium.

The post is for 20 weeks per year for 3.75 hours per week.

This involves:

Specialist Study (1:1 euphonium teaching — 2 hours per week)

Performance in Context (a weekly 1 hour supplementary euphonium class — 1 hour per week)

Specialist Group Study (chamber music ensemble coaching — 45 minutes per week)

Applicants

They wish to consider applicants who possess a degree in music (preferably at postgraduate level) and have suitable teaching experience. In addition, self-motivation, reliability, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

Versatility and creativity as a practitioner would be welcomed, as well as knowledge of recent developments in repertoire.

Tintwistle Band

April 28 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a Soprano and front row cornet players to help complete our team.. We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
