Besson has been delighted by the success of the first broadcast

Steven Mead has told 4BR that the second episode of the brand new 'Besson Fridays @ Home' podcast has been recorded and is currently being prepared ready for broadcast for Friday 3rd July.

First broadcast

The first podcast led by Cory MD Philip Harper with Roger Webster and Steven as contributors and Tom Hutchinson as their guest star was enjoyed by thousands of listeners across the brass banding world.

Steve told 4BR that the mix of friendly chat, opinion and insight gained numerous positive responses, as well as a few new ideas to develop the format further. "We're all delighted by the feedback and opinions aired about the first broadcast. It's given us a great foundation to work on with plenty of new ideas too.

Our thanks also go out to everyone who got in touch — it's so heartening that there is so much support and interest about what we are trying to do.

There's a lot to work on too, but we have a list of guests in the pipeline that we are sure will make for great entertainment."
