Gavin Saynor becomes the latest high profile star to opt for Geneva

The Geneva Group has added to its stable of Performance & Development Artists with the announcement of the signing of Black Dyke Eb tuba star Gavin Saynor.

He becomes the fifth Queensbury player to become a Geneva endorsee, as the brand continues to attract high profile players.

Finest

The Welshman is regarded as one of the finest brass band tuba players in the world, having gained vast experience at the highest level with the likes of Leyland, Fairey, Yorkshire Building Society and Cory. He was appointed principal tuba of Black Dyke at the beginning of 2019.

He has performed all around the musical globe, winning awards and accolades for his playing — from his memorable 'Best Instrumentalist' award at the 2003 European Championships in Bergen to being a guest soloist at the International Tuba & Euphonium Association Conference.

Tutor

A graduate of the University of Salford where he specialised in Musical Performance and Arts Administration, he is a tutor at Bangor University and the National Youth Brass Band of Wales, whilst he has also led a number of bands to contesting success as a conductor.

We are delighted to welcome Gavin in board, and thrilled that he will play an important part in the development of our world class instrumentsGeneva Group
