Global entry list for Cory on-line contests

71 bands from every corner of the banding globe have entered Cory's on-line entertainment championships.

  The championships have attracted entrants from around the globe

Cory Band has announced the line-up of 71 entrants who will compete in its on-line entertainment championship contests.

The event will be broadcast on the weekends of 18th/19th & 25th/26th September 2020 (times and section order to be confirmed) and has attracted entrants from England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Belgium, Ireland, USA, Australia, Singapore, Norway, Germany, South Korea

There will be podium prizes on offer in each section, plus other awards.

The order of play and the list of adjudicators to be announced nearer the time.

Delph Band

May 15 • We are seeking an enthusiastic and musically skilled Associate Conductor to lead and develop our band alongside our current Musical Director Phil Goodwin. . Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays, 8-10pm at Delph Band Club.


Tintwistle Band

May 15 • We have a vacancy for a soprano cornet, and with lots of exciting engagements coming up we would love to get this seat filled!. We rehearse every Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom in Tintwistle, under the baton of our superb MD, Jim Henson.
