Foden's keep up the lockdown entertainment

The second Foden's 'Lockdown Podcast' sees John Barber chat with big band singer Matt Ford, funding expert Carole Crompton and frustrated Spurs fan, Michael Fowles...

Fodens
Matt Ford regularly appeared with Foden's Band in pre-Covid concerts.

Foden's Band continues to entertain brass band fans around the world in their innovative way, with the second edition of their Arts Council funded 'Lockdown Podcast' series.

Matt Ford

On this occasion presenter John Barber chats with big band singer Matt Ford, who less than 12 months ago was signing to a worldwide audience at the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with the John Wilson Orchestra.

Due to the Coronavirus he took the decision to work first at Aldi stacking supermarket shelves and is now enjoying working as a County Council hedge cutter. He takes the time though to recall not how he cuts down trees but how he prepares for those huge high profile concert appearances.

Guests

John also takes the time to speak to the newly appointed Vice President and funding supremo Carole Crompton and Foden's MD and frustrated Tottenham Hotspur fans Michael Fowles.

All that and once again there is a mystery Foden's player for you to guess the identity of, as well as a great selection of music.
