The National Association of Brass Band Conductors (NABBC) is to announce a re-launch of the organisation with a new name and new branding.

NABBC President Russell Gray will make the announcement on the Brass Bands England online webinar 'Keep Calm and Carry on Banding' on Friday 6th November.

Keep calm and carry on banding...

Russell Gray will give an insight into what the new era holds for the organisation and its members, and told 4BR: "I'm looking forward to making the body more relevant to the entire brass band community by supporting, developing and inspiring new conductors."

The Association's team of Area Representatives will also introduce themselves, before leading into a presentation from London & Southern Counties representative, Alan Duguid.

The conductor, composer, adjudicator and teacher based in North London, has worked with a range of bands in the UK and overseas. He will share his inspiration, practical tips, and strategies for keeping your band together during the pandemic — in other words, how to 'Keep Calm and Carry On Banding!'

I'm looking forward to making the body more relevant to the entire brass band community by supporting, developing and inspiring new conductorsRussell Gray
