Time to get the conducting entries in

The last bar is approaching for the Brass Band Conductors' Association (BBCA) Conducting Competition.

There is still time for conductors to submit their entry for the Brass Band Conductors' Association (BBCA) Conducting Competition.

The closing date is midnight on Saturday 30th April. The event is open to conductors of all levels anywhere in the world.

The final will be held at Eccles Town Hall on June 18th and will see the shortlisted candidates demonstrate their conducting skills at the helm of both the Eccles Borough and Hammonds Bands.

Prizes for the event will include presentations to the top three finalists, a prize for the best UK-based participant, and a prize bundle for the winner â€” which will consist of a year's free BBCA membership, a cash prize, and opportunity to work in rehearsal and performance with two of the UK's leading Brass Bands.
