Exmouth Entertainment open to first 15

You will need to get your entries in quick if you wish to be a part of a super day of brass band competition and entertainment in Exmouth later this year.

Exmouth
The festival returns after two years away

The 21st Exmouth Brass Band Festival is hoping to attract up to 15 bands to compete at its event later this year.

Promoted and organised by the South West Brass Band Association, it will be held on 3rd September (starting 10.00am) at the Exmouth Pavilion and can accommodate a maximum of 15 bands for what they hope will be an excellent day of friendly competition.

Entertainment

Each band will present a 25 minute entertainment programme in their bid to claim the Exmouth Town Council Challenge Trophy by impressing adjudicator, Sam Fisher.

Additionally, throughout the day, the bands will also be given the opportunity to entertain the general public with 30-minute concerts in the adjacent Pavilion Gardens.

Opportunity

A spokesperson told 4BR: "We are delighted to be able to return after a two year break and we hope the bands will take the opportunity to come and compete as well as entertain the public with their concert performances."

SWBBA is greatly indebted to the Exmouth Town Council for their generous support of the Festival, and to Leisure East Devon and management and staff of The Pavilion for their assistance in promoting the Festival.
