It has been announced that the Northern Counties Brass Band Association has been forced to cancel its popular event which was due to have taken place in Perth on Sunday 29th May.

The number of withdrawals from the entertainment contest did not leave the organisers with any other option, explained Northern Counties president Jim Wishart.

"We hope that we will see more bands willing to take part next year,"he added. "We appreciate it is still a difficult time for some bands and we wish everyone good luck with their engagements in the coming year."
