62 participants from eight different countries have entered the 2022 Brass Band Willebroek Solo Competition.

The second edition of the event has attracted performers from Spain, Lithuania, France, China, Netherlands, Portugal, Luxembourg and Belgium.

Speaking about the response, event organiser Lode Violet said: "We are very proud that we were able to build on the success of the first edition.

We can offer so much to all the candidates thanks to our sponsors and
I'm sure the candidates will offer much more to us and the audience all over the world. It will be great to see and hear some of the greatest young brass soloists!"
