Free seat for War of the Worlds

You can hear a preview of NASUWT Riverside's take on the famous tale of alien invasion of Woking (and Gateshead) ahead of their trip to the Sage

Riverside
The work is inspired by the famous H.G Wells sci-fi novel

NASUWT Riverside will be hosting a 'War of the Worlds' preview ahead of their appearance at the Brass in Concert Championship at Sage Gateshead this weekend.

The North of England Area Champion will be directed by Prof Nicholas Childs as the aliens emerge at Chester le Street Salvation Army Hall at 8.00pm on Friday 18th November.

Inspired

Their BiC set is inspired by the famous HG Wells novel, which in turn was turned into a famous radio broadcast by the equally iconic Orson Welles and the famous best-selling album of 1978 by musician Jeff Wayne which featured the chilling narration by Welsh actor Richard Burton — which will be heard again in their performance.

Admission is free and doors open at 7.30pm and the rehearsal will start promptly at 8.00pm.
