Cory Band's principal cornet star Tom Hutchinson has returned to Wales following a trip to central Ohio in the USA to work with a trio of local bands.

The Besson artist enjoyed working with Dublin Metro Brass and Dublin Silver Band as they prepared for the forthcoming North American National Championships in Huntsville, Alabama this weekend.

He also took the time to help inspire the next generation of players in the Dublin Youth Band as well as having time to watch some Ohio State University American Football and 'soccer'.

Welcome guest

Dublin Metro Brass in conducted by ex-pat, Dr. Keith Wilkinson who told 4BR: "Tom was a most welcome guest and a real inspiration to us all both with his amazing playing and musical insight. He certainly brought some of that Cory magic with him which we hope will rub off on us all at the NABBA Championships.

We hope he enjoyed his visit, and we look forward to seeing him back with us again in the future."
