With the European Brass Band Championship on the immediate horizon — it's not just the well-known elite level competitors who are putting the final touches to their preparations before they head to Malmo.

Four bands will compete in the Challenge Section on Saturday morning — one of which will be the Laganvale (Metal Technology) Band who will proudly represent Northern Ireland led by conductor Keith Anderson.

We spoke to their Band Secretary Fraser Ramsay to find out more about them — and how they got to Malmo.
