Bands get ready for Brighouse March & Hymn tune work out

The popular march and hymn tune event takes place in Brighouse this weekend.

The popular Brighouse March & Hymn Tune Contest will take place on Sunday 7th July.

The annual event takes place in partnership with the Huddersfield Lions organisation and will start at 12.30pm in the Town Hall Square in the town.

There are a wide range of bands from youth to championship section competing for the usual array of section and individual awards, headed by defending champions Hepworth.

The adjudicators are Leigh Baker and Allan Holdsworth
