Thoresby Colliery Band has announced the appointment of Luke Pallister as their new Musical Director. Luke has enjoyed a long relationship with the band having previously played current with the First Section Midlands band.

Wealth of experience

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Luke brings a wealth of experience, having previously performed with top bands including Grimethorpe Colliery, Leyland and Foden's. We are very pleased to announce him as our new Musical Director."

In response, Luke stated: "It's with great pride that I've accepted the role. I'm excited to see how well we can do in 2025. The future is looking bright."
