The funeral of the iconic former CWS (Manchester) Band cornet star have been announced.
4BR has been informed that the funeral of Derek Garside, one of the most respected and admired cornet players of the post Second World War era will take place on Thursday 29th August at 10.45am.
It will take place at Central Methodist Church, Brighouse followed by a service at the local Crematorium.
