Morley programme confirmed for EverReady

The second band of the Leeds Best of Brass series has announced the full details of its programme.

The EverReady Band has announced the full programme of music it will showcase at its forthcoming Leeds 'Best of Brass' concert at Morley Town Hall on Saturday 2nd November.

Under conductor Chris Shanks they will perform works from rising compositional stars such as Christopher Bond to classics from the likes of John Williams and Jimmy Webb. There are also links to James Bond and Kurt Weill, the Salvation Army and the American pop group 'The Bangles'.

The band's soloists will also be featured with the spotlight falling on Tina Mortimer, Daniel Marsh and Andrew Hedley.

There is a short interview with the band's solo trombone player James Howard to find out a little more ahead of their trip.
