Micah Parsons has become the new Musical Director of Avonbank (Evesham) Band.

The talented euphonium player has gained widespread respect for his musical outlook which has seen tie commissioning of new works for the instrument.

He holds a first-class honours degree in Music from Coventry University and comes from a strong Salvationist musical background.

In welcoming him to the role the band stated: "We are pleased to Micah and are very much looking forward to working with him and watching the band grow."
