The National Youth Music Theatre is offering young musicians the opportunity to gain professional-standard experience in musical theatre as part of its 2025 programme in productions.

Auditions

The scheme is open to all instrumentalists aged 10-23 — including brass and percussion, with auditions being held at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on Sunday 2nd February.

The scheme offers the opportunity for successful applicants to play in live pit bands on various shows, work under the guidance of industry leading musical directors, gain hands-on experience in orchestration and performance and meet up with young musicians keen to follow a career in the sector.
