The death has been announced of the much loved and respected player Marilyn June Kinch, who passed peacefully on Monday 17th March.

Marilyn played in brass bands for over 40 years and was a long-time member of Malmesbury Town Band, Wotton Bassett Band and Corsham Band.

She also enjoyed guesting regularly for many other bands in the region, meeting and making countless new friends along way as she enjoyed playing cornet, and more latterly tenor horn.
