Wainwright releases EP of orchestral works

Composer Andrew Wainwright has released an EP recording of his orchestral works

Wainwright
The release features orchestral compositions from Andrew Wainwright

Composer Andrew Wainwright has just released a new EP recording of his orchestral music.

Although much more well known for his brass band works, 'The Smoke that Thunders' features seven orchestral compositions reflecting a range of personal inspirations, including the title track that is inspired by his early life living in southern Africa where he visited the magnificent Victoria Falls.

Great wonders

It charts explorer David Livingstone's remarkable journey in which he became the first European to set eyes on one of the great wonders of the natural world.

The EP also features the playing of Jessica Townsend (violin) and Tom McCluskey (cello), as well as some of the finest orchestral sound libraries, all mixed and produced by Andrew.
