The UniBrass Foundation is looking to appoint a Fundraising Officer to help grow the donation and grant income of the charity.
12 hours a week
A spokesperson told 4BR: "Thanks to the generous support of the Backstage Trust, UniBrass is able to offer a freelancer an average of one and a half days a week on a long-term basis.
With this new role, brass bands at universities will be more supported than ever, providing that key transition between youth and adult banding."
The charity is looking to recruit an individual to work approximately 12 hours a week on a long-term basis in a freelance capacity.
Support
Chair of Trustees Thomas Hicken told 4BR: "We are really pleased to be in a position to be able to bring a new member of the UniBrass family on board. By increasing our fundraising and grant writing capacity, we will be able to support university brass musicians more than ever before.
As ever, we are looking to support young people in any way possible, so we hope to see lots of applicants from recent graduates and believe that the support available in this role is a great way to start a freelance career."
