New webinar on fundraising for bands by BBE

A new training webinar designed to boost fundraising efforts of bands wiil be hosted by BBE next month.

Getting to know you
The new webinar takes pace next month

Brass Bands England (BBE) is offering a new webinar training session to help bands strengthen their fundraising efforts.

'Getting to Know Your Band' will be hosted on Monday 16th June, and will be a practical session focused on data collection for fundraising.

It aims to show how to gather simple information about your members to build a clearer picture of your band's impact — vital when applying for funding.

Big difference

A BBE spokesperson told 4BR: "The seminar will look at how data on age range details, postcode information to gain geographical information, or how long members have been involved in music-making, can make a big difference.

This session will help band's understand what data is useful, how to collect it, and how to use it to demonstrate the value of your band to funders."

Wider range

This webinar forms part of a wider series of BBE training sessions, including popular topics like Fundraising Fundamentals and Good Governance aimed at band management or anyone involved in the running of a band.
