Shri
The musician has a strong connection to the brass band movement

The remarkable Shri Sriram will be performing as part of New Music Biennial as part of the 2025 Bradford City of Culture celebrations.

His band is called Dhamaal — Core will be showcasing their musical talents for free at the Loading Bay on 8th June (7.30pm) — although such is the demand that you will have to register to get you ticket.

High energy

Dhamaal — Core is a high-energy collaboration of South Asian, jazz and electronic traditions, creating an exhilarating and dynamic celebration of musical diversity.

Created by Shri Sriram, it draws out the up-tempo sounds from the genres to create a celebratory and joyous performance.

Brass project

This performance and the next in London at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London on 6th July is also being used to spotlight the brass band project Dhamaal, which will be performed at the London Jazz Festival later in the year.
