Entries now open for Scottish Festival of Brass brace

Bands can now enter the popular Band Supplies Scottish Challenge Shield and Scottish Open sponsored by Besson.

Both events will take place at Perth Concert Hall

Entry forms are now available for the two senior contests that form the 2025 Scottish Festival of Brass which will be take place at the Perth Concert Hall on the consecutive Saturdays of the 22nd and 29th November.

Band Supplies Scottish Challenge Shield

The Band Supplies Scottish Challenge Shield is open to bands graded nationally in Sections 1-4, and will be held on 22nd November (9.30am start).

There will be a split draw at 8.30am and 12noon. Thanks to the generous support of its sponsor, it has become a very popular cross border event, with 21 bands taking part last year.

Scottish Open

The Scottish Open, supported by Besson will be held on Saturday 29th November (11.15am) with the draw made at 10.00am.

Both contests are own-choice and will have closed adjudication. The 2024 Champion was Milnrow.
