Embracing Duality
The First Section contenders will tackle Ingebjørg Vilhelmsen's recent European Championship Challenge Section work, 'Embracing Duality' inspired by Hel, the mythical half alive, have dead gatekeep to the underworld.
Finlandia and Buoy
Andrew Wainwright's 'Metamorphosis on Finlandia' based on the famous Sibelius tone poem will face the bands in the Second Section, whilst the Third Section rivals will play 'A Buoy', written in 2019 by Belgian composer Stan Nieuwenhuis — a work that represents reflections on hope, safety, positivity and optimism.
