Making Music, the membership organisation for leisure-time music in the UK has announced the appointment of new members to its Board.
Alison Holdom, Katy Lethbridge, Nick James and Sumit Bis were elected at the recent AGM to take on the roles, with Alison Reeves, Deputy CEO and Scotland Manager stating: "The Making Music Board is so valuable to the staff team and the membership, both for the wealth of professional experience they bring and for their lived experience of and enthusiasm for leisure time music groups."
Moving forward
She added: "We welcome these Board members who bring new skills and perspectives to move Making Music forward, along with a drive to support fellow member groups to flourish and bring a diversity of new groups into membership.
We're thrilled to have their expertise on board and look forward to continuing to foster creativity, collaboration, and growth within our community."
The Board led by Chairperson Rhiannon Harrison, also consists of Andy Devine; Catherine Travers; Jayne Barr; Margaret Harrison; Neil Weir; Philip O'Rawe and Jill Prideaux.
