The well-known conductor David W Ashworth is looking for players to join him on a musical expedition to 'The Devil's Arse' cavern in Derbyshire this Christmas.

It is to form a special charity band on Tuesday 23rd December to help raise funds for Christies Hospital.

Dave told 4BR: "I've been asked to form a charity band to give a special Christmas Concert at perhaps the most atmospheric concert hall in the world!

All proceeds for the performance of the special Christies Hospital Charity Band will be donated to Christies Hospital to help in their battle help cancer research. Everyone is welcome — but dress up warm — the Devil can be a bit chilly!"
