The Chiswick Brass Festival will be hosting a special concert event this weekend to help in their fundraising ambitions to host their 2026 event.
The afternoon of chamber music on Sunday 23rd November (4.30pm start) will see brass musicians joined by critically acclaimed soprano vocalist Isobel Coughlan in works such as Haydn's 'Double Concerto for Trombone and Horn' and Schubert's iconic 'Auf Dem Strom'.
She will be joined on French Horn by Ollie De Carteret, who will also accompany her on Mozart's 'Laudate Dominum'.
Isobel will also provide a selection of operatic arias from 'La Boheme' and 'Carmen', as well
Tuba quartet
The event will see the West London Tuba Quartet return to St Paul's Grove Park, playing favourite tuba quartets, whilst Chiswick Brass Festival Artistic Director Tom Torley will also feature works from the cannon of brass chamber music.
Tickets are free but donations are welcome. There will be a short interval where drinks and snacks will be on offer.
