Bands are being asked to show the world what they are all about during Brass Band Week.

Use Brass Band Week to showcase to the world what is great about your band

Brass Bands England (BBE) has launched a social media campaign to highlight the community benefits of brass banding.

Shout about

Speaking about the initiative, which takes place during Brass Band Week from Saturday 4th July to Sunday 12th July, BBE Interim CEO Sarah Baumann said: "This Brass Band Week we want to make sure we highlight more than the events happening across the country: We want to make sure we shout about why banding is so important.

When we ask the question 'what does banding mean to you?' — people often talk so passionately about community, feeling like they belong and the lifelong opportunities banding brings. We wanted to highlight all of that and really bring it to life this Summer."
