Composed for the iconic 1966 film starring Virginia McKenna and Bill Travers, John Barry's Oscar winning score captured the beauty, freedom and emotion of the much-loved wildlife classic.

Academy Awards

The title song also won an Academy Award, cementing its place as one of cinema's finest soundtracks — one that brass band audiences will immediately recognise.

Alan Catherall's superb arrangement (with its own iconic tenor horn led opening!) has warmth, energy and cinematic sweep.
