Fresh from the acclaim that followed its recent Summer Course concert in Bath, the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain continues its performance spotlight in the heart of London this weekend.
On this occasion it will see the NYBBGB Ambassador Band give a free concert at the courtyard of St Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square in London on Saturday 15th August from 4.00pm-6.00pm.
Something for everyone
The 40 strong ensemble will be conducted by NYBBGB Director of Artistic Planning, Dr Robert Childs, for a programme of well-loved classics, brass band favourites and music to cater for all ages and tastes.
A spokesperson told 4BR: "The feedback from audiences for both the National Children's Band and National Youth Band concerts this year has been incredible, and we know we will receive a very warm welcome from what is always an audience with an international flavour.
There is going to be plenty of great music and with refreshments from the cafe and bar what better way can anyone think of to spend a late afternoon right in the heart of London."
