Newbridge (Celynen) Band have teamed up with Frank Renton to conduct at the Porthcawl Entertainments Contest on 16th February.

Opportunity

Band Secretary Nigel Thomas told 4BR: "This is a great opportunity for Newbridge to play for such an outstanding conductor. We had a fantastic 2007 winning the 2nd Section National title and hope that we can start the new year with a good result at Porthcawl".

Paul Holland is unable to take the band due work committments but it will be business as usual with Paul back in charge for the Area in March.
