Helios

Helios UK are very proud of their 'Superb' Euphonium.

This is what one of our customers thinks of his purchase.

Customer Comment:

"I have just purchased a Helios Superb Euphonium and can honestly say that the name describes the instrument perfectly.

With a considerable purchase like this it is sensible to be a little wary. However. The service I received from Chris Johnston and his wife was very efficient and friendly. They kept me informed and up to date with the progress of the sale from ordering to delivery.

I have played Euphonium for well over 40 years and recently EEb Courtois Tuba in 2nd, 1st and Championship section bands using many instruments from the wonderful old Solbron Boosey Euph, Bessons, Courtois (not impressed) and later Sovereigns.

What a terrific price for a quality NEW instrument. Thanks, I should have purchased one a lot earlier A very satisfied Helios customer

Attractive

The Helios Superb is visually a very attractive instrument with a copper lead tube, brass main body and silver slides. I have examined the construction of the pipe joins and have found that it is beautifully put together. The weight and size are both good, slides fit well and move easily, valve construction and action is excellent.

A lot of thought

A lot of thought seems to have gone into this instrument, but does it blow well? An easy blow throughout the range with a warm tone and good intonation, it can handle the quietest of ppp and also plenty of "Wellie" if need be. The compensation works well to keep everything under control tuning wise. What a terrific price for a quality NEW instrument. Thanks, I should have purchased one a lot earlier."
