Elland Silver Bands Annual Slow Melody & Quartet contest takes place on Sunday May 18th.

This year’s adjudicator Richard Marshal, Principal Cornet player of the Black Dyke Band.

The sections are filling up but the organisers say they can accommodate more. The closing date for entries has been extended to Friday May 9th and the draw takes place on Saturday May 10th for all sections.

As yet no quartets have entered so if you can get a quartet together why not give it a go.
