Results: Elland Slow Melody & Quartet

Great standard of young and old performers at Elland.

 

The Elland Silver Band recently held its Slow Melody & Quartet Contest.

Richard Marshall was in the 'Box' for the whole of the day and speaking to the competitors and audience prior to the prize giving, stated how much he had enjoyed the day and was very impressed with the standard of playing in all sections.

11 years & under:

Adjudicators Award was awarded to Bethan Plant for the most musical performance in the section.

March 24 • Cleethorpes Band are recruiting a new MD. The band rehearse on Thursday and Sunday evenings and at the Northern of England contest secured 3rd place in the 4th section. We are a registered charity and have a thriving training band.
