The Barnsley Metropolitan Band recently appeared on BBC2’s politics show with local Barnsley MP Jeff Ennis on Monday lunchtime.

Funding

The item followed on from early campaigning about Arts Funding and how for every £1 received by brass bands and community groups, Opera receives over £1000 and Ballet over £500.

The band filmed with Jeff on Friday morning at the Performing Arts Development Service in Barnsley and was lead by Musical Director and Brighouse & Rastrick cornetist Alex Francis.
