Following the resignation of a number of players, Newbridge (Celynen) have been quick to sign replacements.

Andy Jones on E Flat Bass, Jack Smith on solo trombone, Rob Edwards on flugel and Chris Hicks on solo cornet.

With the players coming into the band at this time of year it gives everyone time to settle in before our next competition which is the National Finals at Harrogate in SeptemberNewbridge (Celynen) Band

Delighted with mix

Band secretary Nigel Thomas told 4BR: "We are delighted to be able sign some good quality players who are a mix of both experience and youth, we have had a really great time over the past couple of years.

Hopefully with the change of players we will continue our success. With the players coming into the band at this time of year it gives everyone time to settle in before our next competition which is the National Finals at Harrogate in September."
