New resident at Fodens

British Open champion announces a new resident combination with 4BR's top photographer.

Fodens

The 2008 British Champions, Fodens have announced that 4barsrest's Ian Clowes, has been appointed as the band’s resident photographer.

Triumphant

Ian has been working with the band throughout 2008 and the partnership has resulted in a photo book capturing the band’s triumphant Tameside Whit Friday outing, and a series of large format prints that were first displayed during a Patron’s concert earlier this year.

Donation

To mark the appointment Ian donated a large format print of the Band taken at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester signed by all the band members, which was auctioned during a Fodens concert last week with 'BBC Young Musician of the Year', Peter Moore.

We are very pleased to have forged this relationship with Ian and are looking forward to exhibiting Ian’s prints and books at selected concerts during 2009Mark Wilkinson, Fodens Band

Exhibits

Mark Wilkinson commented to 4BR: "We are very pleased to have forged this relationship with Ian and are looking forward to exhibiting Ian’s prints and books at selected concerts during 2009."

Uniquely signed by band members, these will be sold with all profits going to band funds.

The prints will be updated on the bands new look website in due course but in the mean time people can view then on Ian’s own site at http://www.pbase.com/troonly/brass_prints.
